I. Job Summary :
The Senior Platform Engineer (IaC AWS Cloud) will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure. This role requires extensive experience in Terraform as code and expertise in AWS Cloud. The Senior Platform Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of our cloud environment.

Enables iterative and incremental delivery of infrastructure and platform capabilities, supporting the rapid deployment of new product features and delivering continuous value to customers.
Implements and enforces security policies and architectural best practices through Infrastructure-as-Code, ensuring compliance, consistency, and resilience across environments.
Empowers delivery teams to be self-sufficient by providing automated, scalable, and reusable infrastructure components, reducing operational overhead and accelerating development cycles.
This role is essential in enabling a self-service, automated, and secure cloud environment that empowers engineering teams to deliver value faster and more reliably. By streamlining infrastructure management and fostering a DevOps culture, the IaC Cloud Engineer helps reduce risk, improve consistency, and accelerate innovation across the organization. Additionally, the Platform Engineer should possess a strong skill set in :
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools, particularly Terraform, to define, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure in a scalable and repeatable manner.
Cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including core services like compute, networking, storage, IAM, and security.
CI / CD pipelines and automation frameworks, enabling seamless integration and deployment of infrastructure and applications.
Containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes, to support modern, microservices-based architectures.
Security best practices, including secrets management, policy enforcement, and compliance automation.
Monitoring, logging, and observability tools, ensuring infrastructure health, performance, and reliability.
Scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automating operational tasks and integrating with APIs.
Version control systems (e.g., Git) and GitOps workflows for managing infrastructure changes through code.
Collaboration and Communication : Strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and effectively communicate technical concepts.

IV. Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional) :
Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Analytics or equivalent.
V. Skill Set Required :
Must have :
2 – 3 years industry experience working in AWS IaC cloud Engineering with Terraform.
Deep expertise in AWS Cloud infrastructure, with hands-on experience in provisioning, troubleshooting, and automating AWS services (e.g., EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, Route53) in large-scale Telco or digital environments.
Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to build, manage, and version cloud infrastructure with reusable, modular code.
Strong experience with AWS-native orchestration tools, including Systems Manager (SSM), CloudFormation, and Image Builder for AMI lifecycle automation.
Proven ability to design and implement immutable infrastructure using containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
Expert-level understanding of CI / CD pipelines, integrating Terraform workflows with tools like GitLab CI, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline for automated infrastructure deployment.
In-depth knowledge of AWS APIs and SDKs, enabling custom automation and integration with third-party systems and internal platforms.
Experience building automated test frameworks for infrastructure validation, ensuring security, compliance, and operational stability.
Proficient in distributed version control systems, particularly Git, with experience in GitOps workflows for managing infrastructure changes.
Strong background in software build and release engineering, including artifact management, environment promotion, and rollback strategies.
Skilled in scripting and programming languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation, tooling, and API integration.
