Delivery Head – Engineering

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Head (12+ years) who will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex AI / ML and cloud-native solutions across multiple clients.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong technical and delivery management expertise. The ideal candidate can design delivery blueprints, steer execution amid ambiguity, and manage client and project challenges with composure and confidence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Delivery Leadership
- Own the end-to-end delivery lifecycle for projects involving :
- AI Agentic Solutions (e.g., autonomous agents, copilots, LLM integrations)
- DevOps & Platform Engineering (CI / CD, IaC, cloud-native platforms)
- Custom Web & Backend Applications
- Cross-platform Mobile Applications
- Ensure timely, high-quality, and within-scope delivery.
- Translate complex technical objectives into actionable milestones and deliverables.
2. Client Management & Stakeholder Communication
Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal delivery teams.Lead onboarding, requirement workshops, demos, and progress reviews (conduct demos personally where feasible).Proactively manage client expectations, delivery dependencies, and project risks.3. Agile Team Coordination
Drive agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.Coordinate across engineering, ML, DevOps, design, and QA teams.Remove blockers and ensure cross-functional alignment.4. Planning & Resource Management
Develop and maintain detailed project plans and delivery roadmaps.Allocate and manage resources across multiple concurrent projects.Track budgets, timelines, and ROI to ensure operational efficiency.5. Process Excellence & Delivery Standards
Define and implement standardized delivery frameworks tailored for AI projects.Enforce best practices in version control, testing, and CI / CD automation.Create reusable workflows, templates, and playbooks for repeatable success.6. Monitoring, Reporting & Optimization
Track delivery KPIs such as sprint velocity, budget burn, timeline adherence, and client satisfaction.Conduct project health checks and retrospectives to identify improvement areas.Drive a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing .7. Pre-Sales & Solutioning Support
Partner with Solution Architects and Sales teams to scope project proposals.Define delivery timelines, resource requirements, and technical feasibility for bids.
