Position : Performance Marketing Manager E-commerce (Marketplace & Q-Commerce Focus)

Experience : 2+ Years in performance marketing, specializing in E-commerce platforms

Job Summary :

We are seeking a results-driven Performance Marketing Manager with a minimum of 2+ years specializing in managing advertising campaigns across major e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Flipkart, and quick-commerce (q-commerce) platforms like Zepto, Instamart & Blinkit.

This role demands a blend of strategic planning and technical expertise in paid media optimization to drive sales, enhance product visibility, and maximize Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).

The candidate will utilize proficiency in dedicated advertising consoles and dashboards to execute a data-driven advertising strategy for a revolutionary D2C sustainable brand.

Job Description :

Campaign Management and Execution :

  • Plan, execute, and meticulously optimize complex performance marketing campaigns across a diverse set of e-commerce platforms : Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, Zepto, Instamart, and Blinkit.
  • Efficiently manage the full suite of advertising formats, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Display campaigns, tailoring strategies to each platform's unique consumer journey.
  • Utilize technical expertise in campaign management tools such as the Amazon Advertising Console, Flipkart Ads Manager, and similar q-commerce platforms for daily monitoring and precise adjustments.
  • Conduct proactive bid adjustments, continuous keyword research, and systematic ad copy and creative testing to enhance campaign outcomes and improve Quality Score.

Performance Optimization and Analytics :

  • Rigorously monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ROAS, ACOS, CTR, and conversions, optimizing campaign parameters in real-time to maximize efficiency and spend utilization.
  • Generate and analyze comprehensive performance reports, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations for leadership.
  • Leverage analytical tools and dashboards (Excel / Google Sheets, AMS dashboard) to identify clear opportunities for growth, campaign scaling, and improved customer acquisition cost (CAC).
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of online marketplaces, product ranking algorithms, and consumer buying behavior across different e-commerce tiers.
  • E-commerce Strategy and Collaboration :

  • Develop and implement a holistic, data-driven advertising strategy that is precisely aligned with the D2C business objectives, seasonal trends, and new product launches.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and pricing teams to ensure product listings maintain competitive positioning and maximize conversion rates driven by ad traffic.
  • Work closely with the creative team to iterate on and develop highly engaging and optimized ad assets suitable for various platform specifications.
  • Maintain strong communication with e-commerce platform account managers to stay fully updated on new tools, emerging trends, ad formats, and potential beta opportunities.
  • Conduct continuous competitive analysis to benchmark performance against key rivals and inform necessary adjustments to the advertising strategies.
  • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience : Mandatory 2+ years in performance marketing, with specialized experience in Amazon Ads, Flipkart Ads, or similar q-commerce platforms.
  • Technical Expertise : Proficiency in campaign management tools such as Amazon Advertising Console, Flipkart Ads Manager, and similar platforms.
  • Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze campaign data and derive actionable insights for optimization.
  • Tools Proficiency : Expertise in Excel / Google Sheets, AMS dashboard, and other advertising dashboards.
  • E-commerce Knowledge : In-depth understanding of online marketplaces, product ranking algorithms, and consumer buying behavior.
  • Communication : Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder collaboration and detailed reporting.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Certification in Google Ads or other major digital advertising platforms.
  • Experience managing large advertising budgets and scaling campaigns internationally or across multiple regions.
  • Prior experience with sustainable or mission-driven brands (FMCG).
  • Familiarity with attribution models and incrementality testing in the e-commerce space
