Senior Ruby on Rails Developer - REMOTE

We are seeking a high-caliber and experienced Senior Ruby on Rails Developer to join our team. The candidate will focus primarily on identifying and resolving critical application stability and scalability challenges. This role requires deep expertise in Ruby on Rails with a strong understanding of microservices architecture distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze and identify bottlenecks related to application instability and scalability issues.
• Provide technical solutions and strategies to address bot attacks application failures and monitoring gaps.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize critical workflows impacting system performance.
• Lead efforts in improving infrastructure monitoring and alerting working closely with tools like Datadog.
• Develop and maintain robust Ruby on Rails microservices and APIs to enhance platform stability.
• Implement fault tolerance mechanisms including auto-restart scripts and failover processes.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews testing and best practices.
• Mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
• Assist in new feature development alongside production issue resolution.
