Job description

Position Overview

The Marketing Automation Executive / Associate will support the execution and optimization of automated campaigns across multiple digital channels. Working closely with the Content Amplification and Sales teams , this role will focus on setting up workflows, testing communication, monitoring performance, and ensuring campaigns run smoothly. Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on CleverTap, Meta experience

Key Responsibilities

Campaign Execution & Support

  • Assist in creating and launching automation workflows (email, SMS, WhatsApp)
  • Manage day-to-day execution of triggered journeys such as welcome series, cart abandonment, reorder nudges, subscription renewals, and loyalty campaigns .
  • Ensure campaign assets (copy, creatives, CTAs) are uploaded accurately and on schedule.

Data & Segmentation

  • Support segmentation of customer databases within CleverTap for personalized targeting.
  • Regularly update and maintain customer lists, ensuring accuracy and hygiene.
  • Monitor real-time campaign performance dashboards and flag anomalies.
  • Testing & Optimization

  • Conduct A / B testing on subject lines, creatives, CTAs, and timing.
  • Track open rates, CTRs, conversions, and retention metrics; share insights with the Manager.
  • Suggest small optimizations to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Work with Brand Managers to ensure campaign content reflects the brand’s voice and guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Content Amplification, Sales and Customer Service teams to align retention and reactivation campaigns with promotions and product availability.
  • Tools & Reporting

  • Operate CleverTap, Meta, Instagram, Google Ads, etc. for campaign setup, journey building, and reporting.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports summarizing campaign outcomes.
  • Support integration checks between CleverTap and CRM / eCommerce systems.
  • Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in marketing automation, CRM, or digital marketing .
  • Hands-on experience with CleverTap (preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of segmentation, personalization, and campaign workflows.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow into a managerial automation role over time.
