Job description

Title : Senior ABAP Consultant

Mandatory Skills :

  • SAP ABAP (Procedural and Object-Oriented Programming)
  • SAP FI / CO, GL (New GL), AM development
  • S / 4 HANA & Fiori
  • FRICEW objects (Forms, Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Workflows)
  • Debugging, Performance Tuning, Runtime Analysis, System Monitoring
  • Interfaces EDI, ALE, IDocs, RFCs, BAPIs
  • Data Conversions BAPI, BDC, LSMW
  • ALV Reporting using ABAP Objects
  • Enhancements User Exits, BADIs, BTEs, Enhancement Points, Switch Framework
  • OData Services, WebDynpro, Workflows
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills :

  • SAP Performance Tuning, ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit), CVA (Code Vulnerability Analysis), RAL (Read Access Logging)
  • SAP Data Archiving
  • ABAP Eclipse Development Tool (ADT)
  • International Tax Solution development, reporting, and forms
  • Hands-on with Fiori and S / 4 HANA environment

    Roles and Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex SAP ABAP applications within FI / CO, New GL, and Asset Management areas.
  • Develop custom solutions leveraging FRICEW objects in S / 4 HANA.
  • Utilize enhancement techniques such as User Exits, BADIs, BTEs, Enhancement Points using the Switch Framework.
  • Work with interfaces like IDOCs, BAPIs, RFCs, and ALE for integration purposes.
  • Handle data migration and data conversion using BAPI, BDC, and LSMW methods.
  • Develop advanced ALV reports using OO ABAP.
  • Design and expose OData services for Fiori applications.
  • Debug and resolve issues, conduct performance tuning, and ensure code quality using ATC / CVA.
  • Work with SAP development tools including WebDynpro and Workflow.
  • Coordinate with functional and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
  • Provide support for pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live phases.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing.
