Job Overview

Lenovo is looking to hire a Trade Compliance Classification Analyst to join our growing worldwide Global Trade Compliance team. Responsibilities will require knowledge of U.S. Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and Wassenaar Arrangement Dual-Use List.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving internal processes on classifying Lenovo's products for hardware, software, and technology.
• Assigning export control classification numbers (ECCNs) to software, technology, integrated circuits, electronic assemblies, and computer systems primarily described in Categories 3, 4, and 5 (Parts 1 and 2).
• Support global shipping transactions and dispositions.
• Working with Lenovo cross-functional teams to improve work efficiency related to classifications and departmental projects.
• Assisting in audits / assessments for ECCN classifications and prepare and present audit reports with findings and recommendations for improvement.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $135-150K USD. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and / or commission.
