Role Overview
The Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the complete contract lifecycle, ensuring all agreements are drafted, negotiated, executed, and managed to deliver maximum value while minimizing organizational risk. This role requires strong expertise in contract deliverables, compliance, risk management, and vendor relationship management—critical for coordinating multiple vendors and supporting essential site operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Contract Management & Governance
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts to secure favorable commercial and operational terms.
- Manage compliance with contract deliverables, SLAs, KPIs, and performance obligations to ensure smooth operations.
- Track key dates, obligations, deliverables, and milestones across multiple contracts to prevent lapses and maintain accountability.
- Develop and implement contract-related policies, procedures, and tools to standardize vendor performance and document control.
2. Strategic Contract Governance
Implement performance-linked contract management for IFM services using measurable KPIs and service-level expectations, improving service quality and reducing inefficiencies.Refresh and maintain Contract Management Plans and operating agreements to strengthen process compliance and enhance service consistency, resulting in annual cost savings.Lead post-award contract governance across the region through KPI analytics, site-level and LOT-level performance reviews, and structured action tracking (RAIL).Consolidate key contract components (Scope, OLA / SFP, TCBs, Actuals) to improve visibility and support strategic decision-making, achieving a 20% improvement in cross-regional standardization and reporting accuracy.3. Financial Governance
Implement and oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to improve financial accuracy and alignment with organizational goals.Lead budgeting and forecasting for Project Cost Books to optimize resource utilization.Conduct monthly budget vs. actual analyses to identify cost variances, manage scope changes, and reduce operational overspend—delivering annual cost savings.Review and realign budgets for multiple contracts through quarterly financial assessments to enhance forecasting accuracy.Identify and resolve financial control issues, including incorrect invoicing, double taxation, unapproved billing, and delayed invoices, improving cost recovery and strengthening financial governance.4. Supplier & Performance Management
Manage supplier performance by validating quarterly KPI scorecards and conducting cross-LOT performance analysis to identify improvement opportunities.Hold monthly supplier and service reviews to ensure contractual alignment and consistently deliver high-quality site experiences.Develop and implement a centralized, governance-aligned document management repository ensuring seamless access, enhanced compliance, and 100% audit readiness.Ensure uninterrupted site operations and adherence to compliance guidelines, resulting in 100% service continuity and improved stakeholder satisfaction.Key Competencies
