ROLE DESCRIPTION (POSITION SUMMARY)

The role holder is accountable for for assisting in the design, analysis, and optimization of high-voltage transmission towers. The role involves working closely with senior engineers to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. This position is ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in structural engineering and an interest in power transmission infrastructure.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist in the structural design and analysis of transmission towers using industry-standard software and manual calculations.

Perform load calculations, material selection, and stress analysis to optimize tower performance and cost-effectiveness.

Preparation of sag-tension calculation, loading calculation, clearance diagram & loading tree as per client’s specification.

Preparation of foundation designs for transmission line towers.

Support in pre tendering engineering i.E., preliminary design and engineering, working out

bill of quantities and other technical support to commercial team for bid preparation.

Coordinate with site at time of project execution and commissioning.

QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or relevant field. Master’s degree will be preferred.

Minimum 4-7 Years of experience in Tower and Foundation Design.

Hands on experience in PLS Tower / StaadPro
