Salary : INR 30 - 40 lpa

A leading global pharmaceutical manufacturer is expanding its Digital & Manufacturing IT team and is looking for an experienced MES Lead to drive PAS-X implementation and L2 equipment integration across multiple sites.

Role Overview

You will lead the design, deployment, and enhancement of Werum PAS-X MES and ensure seamless integration between MES, shop-floor automation systems, and enterprise platforms (SAP, LIMS, etc.). This role is central to digital transformation, data integrity, and manufacturing excellence across all facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end PAS-X MES implementation , configuration, and standardization.

Design and deploy eBRs , master batch records, and process workflows.

Drive L2 (PLC / SCADA / DCS) integration for automated, real-time data capture.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Engineering, and Automation teams.

Ensure compliance with GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, GAMP 5, Annex 11 , and validation standards.

Manage multi-site MES rollouts, vendor relationships, and continuous improvements.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems (Master’s preferred).

6–12 years of experience in IT / OT systems for Life Sciences manufacturing.

5+ years hands-on experience with Werum PAS-X MES (must).

Strong experience in L2 equipment integration , OPC / ISA-95 / ISA-88 frameworks.

Working knowledge of SAP, LIMS, automation systems, and CSV / GMP guidelines.

Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and program management skills.
