Job Description
As a Senior Developer – Java (Full Stack) , your mission is to design, build, and deliver secure, high-quality enterprise web applications and services. You’ll work across the stack—from React front-ends to Java backend APIs and microservices—owning features end-to-end and partnering closely with product, QA, and DevOps to deliver business value. Experience with U.S. banking, billing, and payments is a strong plus.
What You’ll Do :
- Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs and backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and MVC frameworks .
- Build responsive, accessible web UIs with React and modern JavaScript / TypeScript practices.
- Model data, write performant queries, and optimize schemas in PostgreSQL or SQL Server .
- Develop and maintain background services, schedulers, or batch jobs for integrations and data processing.
- Leverage AWS for application hosting, storage, monitoring, and CI / CD; contribute to infrastructure-as-code and deployment pipelines.
- Apply secure coding standards (OWASP), code reviews, automated testing, and performance tuning across the stack.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and QA to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver iterative releases.
- Contribute to technical design docs, architectural decisions, and best practices for reliability and maintainability.
- Explore and apply AI & automation to improve developer productivity, data processing, and user features where appropriate.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
Talents You’ll Bring :
3–8 years of experience building enterprise software with a strong full-stack background.Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA , and REST API design.Strong relational database experience (PostgreSQL or SQL Server) : schema design, query tuning, transactions, and performance optimization.Front-end experience with React (hooks, state management, bundling, testing).Practical experience with AWS (e.g., EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, CloudWatch) and CI / CD practices.Experience with microservices, background processing, or batch frameworks (e.g., Spring Batch, Quartz).Exposure to AI & automation (e.g., integrating AI APIs, building automation scripts / workflows).Solid engineering fundamentals : testing (JUnit / Jest), logging / observability, security, and performance.Enterprise mindset : designing for reliability, scalability, and maintainability in regulated environments.Bonus : Familiarity with U.S. banking, billing, and payments domains (ACH, wires, RDC, card rails), and compliance considerations (PCI, SOC 2).Characteristics You’ll Have :
