Position Summary :
We are seeking a dynamic Deputy Manager to drive our strategic partnerships, infrastructure acquisition, tender bidding, and government liaison initiatives. The role will also support policy advocacy, project feasibility, and cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate will bring proven expertise in business development, stakeholder management, and project execution, with a strong passion for the EV sector. This role is central to expanding our network through collaborations with PSUs, government entities, corporates, and business groups, contributing directly to the company's growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with leadership to translate strategic goals into actionable plans aligned with company objectives.
- Track market trends, policy changes, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Identifying and securing suitable sites for EV charging and battery-swapping hubs.
- Oversee end-to-end tender bidding processes, ensuring compliance and successful outcomes.
- Build and nurture partnerships with government bodies, PSUs, corporates, and other stakeholders to enable EV adoption and infrastructure expansion.
- Drive project development from feasibility to commissioning, including :
- Reviewing state EV / power policies, utilities, and solar / open access frameworks
- Conducting land due diligence, surveys, and acquisition processes
- Managing approvals, permits, technical requirements, and inspections
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Engineering, Project Deployment, Strategy, Business Development) to ensure timely and efficient project execution.
- Support talent development by identifying skill gaps, guiding training initiatives, and contributing to team growth.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and national EV regulations and industry standards.
- Provide strategic recommendations to management on new EV business opportunities, including both organic and inorganic growth & Skills :
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics / Automobile Engineering (MBA preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in business development, government relations, or infrastructure development; exposure to EV charging / swapping projects is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of EV industry dynamics, charging and swapping technology, and automotive sector trends.
- Demonstrated success in government liaison, policy advocacy, and tender management.
- Proven project management, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Experience in high-tech, project-oriented, or matrix organizations with cross-functional collaboration.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
