RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Lead and develop a diverse, high-performing and innovative team of User Acceptance Testers including mentoring, utilizing best practices as a people manager and organizational leader
- Build strong relationships with key partners across the enterprise in eCommerce Development and supporting areas
- Manage user acceptance testing and organizing meetings and supporting training efforts to ensure effectiveness of UAT initiatives
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and specifically UAT processes, best practices, and test methodologies
- Ability to think creatively about designing test scenarios and end-to-end testing
- Discover ways to improve defect mitigation across all levels of the organization
- Work closely with IT and cross-functional commercial and operational business teams to successfully drive, execute and deliver on defect resolutions
- Oversee prioritization, tracking, validation, and resolution of defects with the Product Manager(s) and the IT teams.
- Advanced analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills; including executive presence.
- Ability to explain technical and business processes and articulate in-depth knowledge of Digital Operations, user acceptance testing, and defect management process to a wide audience.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (MINIUMUM QUALIFICATIONS) :
A Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology discipline, or related field and 6 + years of work experience is required.4+ years of experience in UAT, QA & Project Management.Experience with SDLC and Agile.Experience with tools such as Agility, QLM, QTest.Familiarity with Defect Management.Strong leadership skills, written and oral communication skills, positive attitude, and able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environmentProven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment and delivering results on time and on budgetTraining and experience in project management, release management, process optimization, problem solving, facilitation and internal / external consulting is desiredMust be a self-starter that can work independentlySelf-disciplined, organized and team-orientedPositive attitude, & able to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environmentPractices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and proceduresWHAT WILL GIVE YOU A COMPETITIVE EDGE (PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS) :
Knowledge of Delta Air Lines and / or the airline industry, travel landscape and consumer behaviorTechnical understanding of web / mobile applications and UI design preferredExperience with Adobe Analytics (Omniture / Site Catalyst), Quantum Metric a plusExperience with process improvement and streamlining based on new requirementsExperience with end-to-end testing of large projectsExperience with mainframe testingFamiliar with cloud technologiesExperience with Generative AI
