Reports to : Global BT Leadership (US)

Experience : 10–15+ years (Salesforce-heavy background)

🚀 The Opportunity : Lead the Foundation of BT in India

Join a fast-growing, NASDAQ-listed tech company and play a foundational role in building and scaling our Business Technology (BT) team in India. This high-impact leadership position requires a hands-on, expert-level background in Salesforce Revenue Cloud, particularly Salesforce Billing and CPQ , to drive global enterprise engineering programs. You will report directly to the US-based Global BT Leadership and own mission-critical business outcomes.

🎯 What You'll Own & Drive (Key Responsibilities) 1. Strategic & Team Leadership

Scale the India BT Team : Lead, mentor, and grow a team of 10–15+ engineers , fostering a high-performing culture with strong accountability and technical excellence.
Global Program Ownership : Partner closely with US-based BT Leaders to drive execution across key enterprise platforms (Salesforce, Workday ERP, MuleSoft, etc.).
Delivery Excellence : Establish robust governance models, delivery metrics, dashboards, and transparent reporting frameworks.
Culture & Development : Conduct regular 1 : 1s, facilitate internal tech sessions, manage certifications planning, and champion a rewards and recognition culture.

2. Salesforce Billing & CPQ Expertise

Platform Vision : Oversee the architecture, implementation, and optimization of our Salesforce Billing, CPQ, and CRM platforms.

Complex Billing Operations : Lead the engineering efforts for critical billing functions, including :

RatePlan, RatePlanCharge, pricing rules, and amendments.

Management of recurring, one-time, and usage-based charges.

Mediation, rating, and revenue schedule generation.

Integration with product usage data and Workday ERP systems.

Compliance & Best Practices : Ensure all processes adhere to financial standards like ASC 606 / IFRS 15 . Drive best practices in Apex, LWC, component reuse, code reviews, and overall architecture.

3. Enterprise Integration & Automation

MuleSoft / API Strategy : Lead the development of scalable, API-based integrations between Salesforce, Workday ERP, and other internal systems.

Financial Workflows : Build robust automation for invoice generation, payment processing, sync logic, and comprehensive error handling .

Performance : Optimize bulk APIs, batch / async processing, retry logic, and ensure efficient SOQL usage.

Security : Enforce security and compliance standards including FLS, CRUD, Salesforce Shield, and GDPR .

🛠️ Skills & Experience You'll BringNon-Negotiables

10–15+ years of total experience, with a Salesforce-heavy background .

4–5+ years of hands-on experience specifically in Salesforce Billing and leading large-scale Billing / CPQ implementations.

Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 10–15+ engineers in a high-growth environment.

Deep technical command of Salesforce Billing objects (revenue schedules, usage records, amendments), Apex, LWC, and API-led architectures (MuleSoft / similar).

Solid understanding of financial systems, SaaS billing models, and ASC 606 / IFRS 15 compliance.

Experience running global programs with required overlap for US PST morning hours .

Preferred

Salesforce Certifications : Billing Specialist, CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer II , or Architect track.

Experience with Workday ERP integrations.

Background in building or scaling India-based delivery centers from the ground up.

Strong analytical and KPI-driven decision-making skills.

Work Hours : Strong daily overlap with US PST morning hours is required for effective global partnership.
