About your team

We are GPS Delivery, part of the wider Global Platform Solutions division within Fidelity. We support a variety of customers, including Retail, Workplace and Institutional investors in the wholesale, direct investing and advised channels. We operate through a capability structure which means we work together across several disciplines, providing cross functional expertise and striving to be as efficient and as excellent as we can be. GPS Delivery are responsible for all aspects of client record keeping and transaction processing across a wide range of investment and lifetime savings products too. We are made up of many different teams all focused on doing the right thing for the customer.

About your role

The position is for an Expert Engineer (Java Cloud) in Fidelity International. The role involves doing development and creating workable solutions involving Core Java, Multi-Threading, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Springboot, Microservices, Hibernate etc. The role will involve understanding the technical design, development and implementation of the agree solution. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an innovative and enthusiastic approach to technology and problem solving, will display good interpersonal skills and show confidence and ability to interact professionally with people at all levels and exhibit a high level of ownership within a demanding working environment. Role would also involve intensive interaction with the business and other Technology groups, and hence strong communications skills and the ability to work under pressure are absolute must.

About you

You should have 6-8 years of relevant and excellent development experience involving solution design and essential skills, technologies & tools like Core Java, Java 17, SQL, Spring Core, Spring MVC, Hibernate, Design Patterns, Springboot, Microservices, Hibernate, RDS, NoSQL Databases, AWS Cloud, Jenkins, CI CD DevOps, GitHub, GIT, Security Tools, JS / DS, SOAP, Rest APIs, Mockito, Containerization Tools, Layer-7 / Apigee Gateway, XML, Agile and JIRA / Confluence etc.
