Job descriptionDeep technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical circuits, plumbing layouts, drainage & firefighting systems. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Excel, and project scheduling tools. Familiarity with industry codes like IS / NBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local building norms. Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, quality-focused, and deadline-oriented. Hands-on experience with real estate or infrastructure projects. Exposure to green building systems (LEED / IGBC) is a plus. Knowledge of cost estimation, vendor management, and material procurement.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the design and execution of HVAC (Mechanical) , Electrical , and Plumbing systems.
- Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, and technical submissions from consultants and contractors.
- Ensure alignment of MEP services with architectural and structural designs for smooth project delivery.
- Oversee on-site execution, inspect MEP installations, and ensure work is as per standards and project schedule.
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and statutory norms.
- Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning of MEP systems before handover.
- Coordinate utility connections, load calculations, pump sizing, duct layouts, electrical load distribution, and water supply / drainage systems.
- Handle BOQ verification, material approvals, and support in billing / certification processes.
