The Position :
Reporting to the Service Delivery Lead, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring on quality and on time delivery of test planning and executions activities in the delivery of Quality Assurance (QA) Testing for new or modified applications / systems across multiple platforms. The QA & Testing Lead Analyst will be a high-performing individual who is methodical, inquisitive and has a passion for quality. They will partner with their Scrum Team and business colleagues on a journey of continuous learning and improvement to ensure ongoing optimisation of our test automation capability in support of key strategic outcomes for our business.
Working across our IM IT Team to deliver successful QA & Testing solutions enabling all methodologies with a focus on SAFe Agile. You will work with individuals from across the world, with both in-person and remote teams.
Main Duties / Responsibilities :
- Lead & drive a QA team
- Responsible for delivering the QA milestones & targets for the assigned test projects
- Create Test strategy & Test Planning for the projects
- Implement test techniques & methodologies to deliver high quality product
- Management of test environment(s) to ensure a sound baseline for assigned testing activity
- Defect and Issue Resolution Management in line with test schedule timescales
- Monitor and report the project status to the key stakeholders
- Support the business in the delivery of UAT Testing and ensure Best Practice is adhered within related deliverables
- Coach & mentor the team to improve the team performance & skills
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve the quality & productivity of the team including participation and support of Communities of Practice forum
- Participate in PI & Sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
- Capacity planning & resource allocation
- Implement agile process & ceremonies
- Manage Risk & issues
- Adheres to the organization's Quality Engineering best practices and help to drive changes to achieve more efficiency
- Identify & Support Automation and DevOps opportunities; looking at efficiencies in ‘In Sprint’ Automation as well as Regression as we develop our CI / CD pipelines
Required Skills and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two, typically five or more years’ experience in a system quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience8+ Yrs. experience in Software QA & Testing2 - 3 yrs. experience as QA LeadKnowledge of the Health Insurance IndustryBroad knowledge of the Software Delivery Lifecycle with specific expertise of Software TestingProven experience of working within an Agile environmentBroad knowledge of automated testing and modelling toolsGreat knowledge of change management and test case generation techniquesGood knowledge of different web browsers like Internet Explorer, Firefox, MS Edge, ChromeCompetent user of Microsoft office applications like Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsComfortable working independently, leading a team or as part of a teamDemonstrate accuracy and possess a keen eye for detailStrong interest in personal developmentDesirable Skills and Experience
