Summary of Role :

Willis Towers Watson (WTW) Technology Compliance SOC SME will ensure that the organization meets its regulatory obligations through application of appropriate and consistent controls. The role holder will be responsible for supporting technology compliance related regulations and controls at WTW.

As a subject matter expert in technology compliance, you will be responsible for supporting the quality of the control environment and framework is managed in line with requirements across WTW.

The role includes working as part of a global team, across the EMEA and APAC regions. The role will report to the Technology Compliance SOC Team Lead. This role will ensure Enterprise Technology and business teams are engaged to deliver the global technology compliance audits and ensure deficiencies are communicated and addressed by control owners.

The Job holder will be responsible for supporting the planning, tracking and delivery of all in scope Technology Compliance audit work (covering SOC1 / 2, ISAE & AAF) including remediation of any exceptions identified or areas for improvement noted. The role will support SOC1 audits where there is overlap with SOC2 controls. This includes building and managing relationships with key third party auditors and other internal WTW teams.

The role also includes supporting the efforts of continuous maturity of the WTW Technology Compliance IT controls environment including the evolution and automation of controls, ensuring cloud controls are established based on transformation and educating stakeholders and controls owners.

The Role :

This role will support and report to Technology Compliance SOC Team Lead and work closely with Lines of Business responsible for client needs relating to compliance reporting requirements.

  • Accountable for supporting delivery of all SOC, ISAE and AAF audits leveraging technology scoped controls.
  • Support key technology compliance impacting projects to ensure change to controls is designed and operated effectively during and post project implementation.
  • Attend and contribute to key governance forums
  • Produce timely metrics to support governance reporting requirements.
  • Engagement with Auditors for the purpose of planning and co-ordination and execution of audits including evidence requests and walkthroughs
  • Engagement with third party vendors who operate controls within the WTW environment leveraged for in scope audits.

The Requirements : Skills :

  • Experience in working with a dynamic multi location team.
  • Ability to multitask and manage communications with multiple stakeholders concurrently.
  • Understand, maintain, and manage complex and ever-changing IT control environments covering access, change, IT operations, cybersecurity and governance.
  • Qualifications :

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years experience with IT and technology controls / audit related engagements
  • Experience of working within a Global Financial organisation
