WordPress Developer Job Description

We’re seeking a skilled WordPress Developer to create custom themes, plugins, and optimize websites for performance and SEO. Must be proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiar with tools like Elementor, WooCommerce, and ACF. Benefits include career growth, skill development, and a supportive work environment.

Responsibilities and Duties :

  • Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
  • Convert Figma designs into responsive WordPress themes with pixel-perfect accuracy.
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, and jQuery.
  • Create and modify custom WordPress plugins & themes to meet project requirements.
  • Optimize website performance, security, and SEO best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including bugs and performance bottlenecks.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and payment gateways when needed.
  • Develop responsive website designs.
  • Knowledge of interacting with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git and Bitbucket.
  • Strong knowledge of WooCommerce, Yoast SEO, and ACF.

Qualifications and Skills :

  • 2 to 3 years of work experience.
  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
  • Familiarity with ACF PRO and custom post types.
  • Familiarity with page builders like Gutenberg, Elementor, WPBakery, or Oxygen Builder.
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Thorough functional knowledge and coding experience.
  • Should be computer savvy and have strong communication skills.
  • Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
  • A solid understanding of how web applications work, including security, session management, and best development practices.
