Roles and Responsibilities

As the Principal, you will be the academic and administrative leader of the school, responsible for shaping its vision and leading a motivated team of educators. Key responsibilities include :

  • Providing visionary leadership aligned with the school’s mission and values.
  • Overseeing curriculum planning, teaching standards, and assessment strategies.
  • Driving student-centric learning practices, innovation, and co-curricular excellence.
  • Building a culture of collaboration, professional growth, and accountability among staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with CBSE / education board guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Strengthening parent-school-community relationships and fostering a positive school culture.
  • Leading initiatives for admissions growth, branding, and overall institutional development.
  • Monitoring financial, infrastructural, and operational efficiency in coordination with management.
  • Mentoring teachers and students to achieve their full potential.

Experience and Skills Required

  • Educational Qualifications : Postgraduate degree with B.Ed / M.Ed or equivalent (Ph.D. preferred).
  • Experience : Minimum 10–15 years in the education sector, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (as Principal, Vice-Principal, or Head of School).
  • Skills & Attributes :
  • Strong academic vision and deep understanding of modern pedagogy and NEP / NCF guidelines.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to inspire, mentor, and build high-performing teams.
  • Strategic thinking with experience in school operations, admissions, and stakeholder management.
  • Commitment to child-centered education and holistic development.
  • Proven track record of driving results in both academics and co-curricular domains.
