Job description

Mediation Developer / Deployment :

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain mediation workflows using Nokia MediationZone to process telecom data (e.g., CDRs , EDRs , usage events).
  • Write and maintain custom C and Perl scripts for data parsing, transformation, enrichment, and file processing.
  • Develop and deploy mediation services into Kubernetes clusters , ensuring scalability, high availability, and resource optimization.
  • Create and configure input / output adapters using various protocols (FTP / SFTP, TCP / IP, Kafka, HTTP).
  • Perform batch and real-time data processing across different telecom network elements (e.g., MSC, PGW, SGSN).
  • Handle complex data correlation, validation, filtering , and error handling workflows.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production mediation environments.
  • Collaborate with IT, Billing, Network, and DevOps teams for integration and performance optimization.
  • Exposure of telecom protocols( Diameter, Radius, GTP,SIP,HTTP,FTP / ,SFTP)
  • Contribute to automation, version control, and CI / CD processes using Git, Jenkins, Helm, etc.
  • Document mediation flows, system design, and technical implementation details.

Required Skills & Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Nokia MediationZone (Digital Mediation) .
  • Strong programming skills in C and Perl for custom mediation components.
  • Solid understanding of telecom mediation , including processing of voice, data, SMS, VoLTE, 5G usage records.
  • Experience working in Linux / Unix environments with strong shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience deploying applications in Kubernetes , including YAML configuration, Helm charts, and containerization (Docker).
  • Understanding of mediation concepts such as normalization , aggregation , distribution , and reconciliation .
  • Familiarity with data formats like ASN.1 , XML , JSON , and CSV .
  • Proficient with RDBMS systems and SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL).
