Roles and Responsibilities

• Automate application functionalities using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman API Automation, and Appium
• Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure automation is implemented in parallel with ongoing development .
• Design, review, and maintain test scenarios, test cases, and test data .
• Perform functional, regression, API, and mobile testing while ensuring adherence to QA processes and standards.
• Own the quality for assigned product areas and ensure zero-defect delivery to production.
• Participate in walkthroughs of testing procedures to ensure understanding, clarity, and completeness.
• Prepare all test-related documentation such as test execution reports, defect reports, RCA, and daily status updates .
• Execute test cases, identify defects, and assign appropriate severity and priority .
• Apply excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues efficiently.
• Work with CI / CD pipelines—integrate, maintain, and execute automated test suites through Jenkins / GitHub Actions .
• Collaborate on version control using Git / GitHub , ensuring proper branching strategies and PR reviews.
• Understand and contribute to containerized test environments using Docker / Docker Compose for scalable test execution.
• Support deployment and validation activities in cloud environments such as AWS .
• Work closely with DevOps to ensure automated tests are stable, scalable, and aligned with pipeline requirements.
