Festivals From India is hiring for their client ASIGN in Chennai an experienced Technical Product Manager  to bridge product requirements and engineering execution. The TPM will work closely with the Product team, translating product vision and business requirements into technical specifications, partnering with engineering on architecture and delivery, and ensuring that our products are scalable, secure, and reliable. This is a hands-on builder role - you will own technical specifications, developer-facing documentation, system validation, and technical health metrics, while driving agile execution alongside engineers and QA.

Please note :

Requirements

  • 4 - 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in technical product management for SaaS / cloud environments.
  • Strong technical fluency : APIs, cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure), system architectures, and data models.
  • Hands-on ability with SQL, API testing tools (Postman / Swagger), and system monitoring / analytics tools.
  • Experience defining non-functional requirements (performance, security, scalability, reliability).
  • Proven track record of working with engineering teams to deliver technical products at scale.
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards (GDPR, data privacy).
  • Proficiency with tools like Jira, Confluence, Slack, Figma and preferred to have exposure to ML / AI, SDKs, or developer platforms.
  • Key Attributes :

  • Execution Over Management : We are not looking for coordinators. This is a builder role - you must be comfortable writing specs, validating APIs, testing builds, filing bugs, and iterating with engineers daily.
  • Speed, Ownership & Autonomy : You’ll own features end-to-end - from spec to QA to go-live - and be accountable for their technical soundness and delivery quality.
  • Preferred :

  • Experience working in startups or scale-ups with SaaS products.
  • Familiarity with developer ecosystems and API-first products.
  • Ability to mentor junior PMs / APMs on technical execution.
  • Requirements

    Essential Requirements : Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data engineering. Solid understanding and experience with ELT pipelines and modern data stack tools. Practical knowledge of one or more orchestrators (Dagster, Airflow, Prefect, etc.). Proficiency in Python and SQL. Experience working with APIs and data integration from multiple sources. Familiarity with one or more cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery,Redshift). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. Essential Qualifications : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field Proven experience (5+ years) in data engineering, data integration, and data management Hands-on experience in data sourcing tools and frameworks (e.g. Scrapy, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Playwright) Proficiency in Python and SQL for data manipulation and pipeline development Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and data warehouse tools (e.g. Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake) Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Prefect, Dagster) Strong understanding of relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL,MongoDB, etc.) Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL best practices, and data governance principles Systems knowledge and experience working with Docker. Strong and creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically about data engineering solutions. Effective communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
