PSI Functional Senior Consultant

EYs Platform Solutions and Intelligence (PSI) teams mission is to develop implement and integrate technology solutions that better serve our clients and engagement teams. As a member of EYs core Tax practice youll develop a deep tax technical knowledge and outstanding ERP database data analytics and programming skills.

Ever-increasing regulations require tax departments to gather organize and analyse more data than ever before. Often the data necessary to satisfy these ever-increasing and complex regulations must be collected from a variety of systems and departments throughout an organization. Effectively and efficiently handling the variety and volume of data is often extremely challenging and time consuming for a company.

EYs PSI team members work side-by-side with the firms Alliance partners clients and tax technical subject matter experts to develop and incorporate technology solutions that enhance value-add improve efficiencies and enable our clients with disruptive and market leading tools supporting Tax.

PSI team works closely with clients in Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) areas such as management reporting statutory reporting sustainability reporting and tax reporting. For tax this typically include Direct Tax Transfer Pricing Indirect Tax BEPS Pillar 2 Costing Service Charging. PSI provides solution architecture application development testing and maintenance support to the global TAX service line both on a pro-active basis and in response to specific requests.

EY is currently seeking a Functional Senior Consultant to join our PSI practice across all of our locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design effective Finance and Tax solutions with an emphasis on improving processes compliance efficiency and better decision making - this includes drafting user requirements process mappings Data flows diagrams functional and technical design documents among other documents depending on the deployment methodologies.
• Implement these solutions by collaborating in the configuration development unit testing preparing test scripts and project management activities.
• Identify and develop solutions for complex business challenges on the intersection of finance IT and tax
• Support our team of Tax Technology experts in implementation of solutions in SAP Microsoft and other technologies.
• Involvement in the development of innovative services and preparation of turnkey solutions for clients
• Manage clients and teams located in multiple locations.
