SERVICE ENGINEER

Job Title : Service Engineer – Air Compressor Machine

Department : Service / Maintenance / Technical Support

Reporting to : Service Manager / Technical Head

Job Summary :

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of air compressor machines and related equipment at client sites or within service centers. The role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction through timely and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities :

• Installation & Commissioning :
• Install air compressors (reciprocating, rotary screw, centrifugal, etc.) and related accessories (air dryers, filters, receivers).
• Conduct system startup, testing, and performance validation.
• Maintenance & Repairs :
• Perform routine preventive maintenance as per OEM guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues in air compressor systems.
• Replace faulty components such as valves, motors, belts, bearings, sensors, etc.
• Diagnostics & Reporting :
• Identify causes of operational issues or system failures.
• Use diagnostic tools to assess system performance and detect abnormalities.
• Prepare detailed service reports and maintenance records.
• Customer Support :
• Communicate with clients regarding service issues, maintenance schedules, and system usage.
• Educate customers on proper handling and routine checks to ensure longevity of equipment.
• Compliance & Safety :
• Adhere to all company and site-specific safety protocols.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and operational regulations.
