Lead QA Engineer

We are looking for a seasoned Lead QA Automation Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the eCommerce domain. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in automation and manual testing, strong leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of driving quality initiatives across complex systems. Experience with modern automation frameworks, CI / CD integration, and mentoring global QA teams is essential.

Role Summary :

• Lead QA strategy and execution across multiple eCommerce platforms and services.
• Architect and evolve scalable test automation frameworks using tools like Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress.
• Define and implement quality metrics, test plans, and risk-based testing approaches.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of testing into Agile workflows.
• Drive in-sprint automation and shift-left testing practices.
• Oversee API testing and performance validation using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or JMeter.
• Manage and mentor onshore / offshore QA teams, fostering a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to defect prevention strategies.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce innovative testing solutions.
