Role Overview

We are looking for an IAM Integration Engineer with strong experience in API integrations, authentication frameworks, and enterprise security systems. The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining integrations between our IAM platform and third-party enterprise applications, ensuring secure, scalable, and seamless interoperability.

You will work closely with product engineering, security architects, and customer-facing teams to deliver high-quality integrations that enhance platform adoption and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design & Development

Research and analyze third-party enterprise security products to understand APIs, authentication workflows, and integration touchpoints.

Design and implement integration architectures aligned with product strategy and customer requirements.

Develop APIs, connectors, SDKs, and integration modules using industry-standard protocols and security patterns.

Build product-level integrations within the IAM platform for authentication, authorization, provisioning, governance, and SSO workflows.

Implementation & Lifecycle Ownership

Contribute to the integration lifecycle : requirements analysis, architecture, coding, unit testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Conduct end-to-end integration testing, debugging, and optimization for performance and security.

Prepare and maintain technical documentation, API references, and integration guides.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with product managers, backend engineers, and security teams to align integrations with roadmap priorities.

Support customer success, pre-sales, and implementation teams during PoCs, demos, and deployment scenarios.

Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical roadmap planning.

Security & Best Practices

Follow secure coding principles, encryption standards, and compliance guidelines.

Stay updated with IAM standards, security protocols, and evolving integration technologies.

Advocate best practices for API governance, versioning, logging, and monitoring.

Required Technical Skills

Programming & API Expertise

Strong proficiency in Java for backend integration development.

Solid understanding of RESTful API design, API security, and integration architectures.

Experience using Postman, cURL, or similar tools for API testing and automation.

Familiarity with JSON, XML, YAML, and serialization formats.

Identity & Security Protocols

Practical understanding of OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAML 2.0, SCIM, JWT, API keys, and token-based auth.

Basic understanding of LDAP and Active Directory integration concepts.

Platform & Security Knowledge

Exposure to IAM, PAM, or security products is a strong advantage.

Awareness of secure development practices, encryption standards, and data protection concepts.

Familiarity with AWS / Azure / GCP IAM services.

Tools & Systems

Experience with Git or version control systems.

Knowledge of SQL / NoSQL databases and data mapping.

Experience Requirements

3+ years of experience in software development, integration engineering, or API-based solution development.

Experience working with security products, SaaS platforms, or enterprise applications is preferred.

Prior exposure to IAM, cybersecurity, or cloud identity technologies is an added advantage.
