Role Overview :
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, productivity, and profitability across all manufacturing and business functions. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the COO will play a pivotal role in scaling the company through its next phase of growth — focusing on systemization, export expansion, and global competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee day-to-day plant operations across production, planning, quality, supply chain, and maintenance.
Translate the company’s strategic goals into actionable operational plans and measurable KPIs.
Drive lean manufacturing, process improvement, and cost optimization initiatives.
Strengthen QMS, EHS, and compliance systems in alignment with AS9100 Rev D and customer requirements.
Develop and mentor department heads to build a high-performance, accountable leadership team.
Coordinate closely with the MD and senior management to support business expansion, export programs, and customer engagement.
Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering, production, procurement, and quality teams.
Support ERP utilization, data-driven decision-making, and continuous process digitization.
Manage P&L ownership, operational budgeting, and performance reviews.
Candidate Profile :
15–25 years of experience in precision or aerospace component manufacturing, preferably with CNC / machining backgrounds.
Strong exposure to AS9100 systems, production planning, and vendor development.
Proven track record in managing operations of a mid-sized or large-scale manufacturing setup.
Hands-on leadership style with an ability to implement systems and drive cultural change.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills.
Engineering background (Mechanical / Industrial / Production) required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
