Senior Backend Engineer (.NET)

Job description7+ years of experience in backend development with C# and .NET Experience with both legacy (.NET Framework 4.x) and modern (.NET Core through .NET 5+) development Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design Strong understanding of database design and optimization Development experience with either AWS or Azure Cloud Computing Experience with container orchestration (ECS / EKS, Service Fabric) Experience with event-driven architectures and message queues Hands-on experience with Redis caching, Docker containerization, and Entity Framework Working knowledge of Serverless computing Work independently and deliver complete solutions Handle legacy code maintenance and modernization Implement secure coding practices Optimize application performance Troubleshoot complex system issues efficiently Experience with medical device software development Knowledge of healthcare IT standards and regulations Understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements Previous work with FDA or CE-regulated software Experience with healthcare data security standards Backend : .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, C#, Node.JS, Python Cloud Platforms : Monitoring : Application Insights, Prometheus, Grafana Database : PostgreSQL on RDS, Azure Table Messaging : AWS SQS / SNS, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus Tools : Docker, RabbitMQ, Redis Alerting : PagerDuty You balance pragmatism with perfection. About The Role
This role involves expanding our neurology platform by implementing cloud-native solutions and optimizing existing software. You'll be responsible for the backend ecosystem that powers our medical device software.
In this hands-on coding position, you will own backend components - from infrastructure implementation to system architecture- design scalable microservices, optimize database architecture, enhance security protocols, maintain cloud architecture for SaaS products and work on product compliance documentation to ensure healthcare regulations and collaborate closely with other stakeholders to deliver technically robust solutions.
As an experienced engineer, you will identify technical challenges, propose solutions, and collaborate on quality software development and problem-solving with the team. You'll help shape our technical direction while delivering solutions that advance neurological care and improve patient outcomes.
