Position Overview

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.

You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, using your expertise in Python and data analysis to uncover insights, optimize processes, and guide strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of using data to solve complex business problems and a strong understanding of financial and market analysis, underpinned by an MBA.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Modeling :

  • Use Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) to collect, clean, and analyze large datasets.
  • Develop and maintain statistical models to predict market trends, customer behavior, and business outcomes.

Business Insights & Reporting : Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable business insights.

  • Create compelling dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib / Seaborn.
  • Present findings to senior management and stakeholders.

    • Strategic Planning & Process Improvement : Partner with business leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency gains.

  • Leverage your MBA knowledge to perform market analysis, financial modeling, and strategic planning.

    • Stakeholder Management : Serve as a liaison between business and technical teams.

  • Gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure solutions align with business objectives.

    • Project Management : Lead and manage data-driven projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and successful implementation.

    Mentorship & Leadership : Provide guidance and support to junior analysts, promoting a culture of continuous learning and data-driven Master of Business Administration (MBA) is required.

    Experience : 4-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role.

    Technical Skills :

  • Proficient in Python for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Experience with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn is essential.
  • Experience with SQL for database querying.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib / Seaborn.

    • Business Acumen :

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, market analysis, and strategic frameworks (e.g., SWOT, Porter's Five Forces).
  • Proven ability to conduct cost-benefit analysis and risk assessment.

    • Soft Skills :

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.

    • Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies like Spark or Hadoop
