YOUR TASKS

Reviewing and processing purchase orders.
Negotiating contract terms of agreement and pricing.
Communicating with suppliers, employees and management to align with company procurement strategies.
Researching and identifying potential suppliers based on the project requirements.
Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness of the procurement process.
Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities.
Developing a comprehensive understanding of each project's procurement requirements.
Regularly reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and suppliers.
Performing risk management regarding supply contracts and agreements.
Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure clear requirements documentation.
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.

Proven experience as a Purchasing Specialist or in a similar role.

Experience in conducting negotiating and managing contracts.

In-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices.

Experience with SAP with be plus

Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices.

Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

A strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Ability to work well under pressure and within tight deadlines.

Professional certification in Procurement or Inventory Management is a plus.
