Senior Infrastructure Consultant - Virtualization / Networking

Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Consultant to lead the assessment, design, deployment, and optimization of complex enterprise IT infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in virtualization, networking, cloud platforms, and automation, with a proven track record of ensuring infrastructure resilience, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry best Responsibilities :

• Assess current infrastructure architecture and recommend improvements for scalability, performance, and security.
• Design and implement enterprise virtualization solutions using VMware and Hyper-V.
• Lead advanced networking configuration and troubleshooting, including routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, and Cisco IOS administration.
• Plan and execute infrastructure solutions in AWS and / or Azure, with a focus on IaaS and PaaS environments.
• Automate infrastructure deployment and configuration using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
• Establish and maintain monitoring and diagnostics using tools such as SolarWinds, Splunk, or similar platforms.
• Develop and maintain robust Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP), including RPO and RTO definitions and the automation of backup and recovery processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of infrastructure with business needs and compliance standards.
• Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and operational Technical Skills :
• Virtualization : Expertise in VMware and Hyper-V.
• Networking : Advanced skills in routing / switching, VLANs, VPNs, and Cisco IOS (preferably CCNP-level).
• Cloud Platforms : Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure (IaaS / PaaS design & operations).
• Automation & Scripting : Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Bash.
• Monitoring & Diagnostics : Experience with SolarWinds, Splunk, or equivalent platforms.
• Disaster Recovery / BCP : Proven ability to define RPO / RTO and automate backup and recovery Certifications :
• CCNP Enterprise (Cisco)
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• ITIL v4 Foundation
