Job description

Role Purpose : To lead the end-to-end beverage processing operations ensuring consistent product quality, compliance with food safety standards, cost optimization, and adherence to Coca-Cola Operating Requirements (KORE) while driving a culture of safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement.

Production & Process Management :

  • Plan, organize, and monitor day-to-day process operations for CSD, ASSP, and Juice lines.
  • Ensure timely preparation of syrups, blends, and batches as per specifications and demand plan.
  • Optimize process parameters for Concentrate and Sugar yield, efficiency, and minimal wastage.
  • Maintain control over utilities (water, steam, compressed air, CO₂, CIP) supporting process operations.

Quality & Food Safety

  • Ensure all operations comply with KORE, ISO, FSSC 22000, HACCP, and internal quality standards.
  • Verify and document CCP / OPRP parameters during beverage preparation.
  • Lead troubleshooting of quality deviations, implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Drive GMP, GHK, and sanitation compliance across the process area.
  • People Leadership

  • Lead and develop a team of process operators / technicians.
  • Conduct on-the-job training for process control, safety, hygiene, and troubleshooting.
  • Build a high-performance, motivated, and safety-conscious team culture.
  • Track and ensure QFS / BBQFS compliance in all processes.
  • Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)

  • Ensure safe working practices across the process area, with zero accidents as the goal.
  • Implement and monitor EHS standards, statutory compliances, and waste reduction initiatives.
  • Promote sustainability through water, energy, and CO₂ usage optimization.
  • Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization

  • Analyze losses (material, yield, energy, CO₂, syrup) and implement cost reduction measures.
  • Drive Lean, Kaizen, and TPM initiatives for improving productivity.
  • Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Utilities, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
  • Support new product trials, process validations, and commissioning activities.
  • Key Competencies :

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Food Technology, Dairy Technology, or equivalent.
  • 8-10 years of experience in beverage operations.
  • Strong knowledge of beverage preparation, syrup room, pasteurization, CIP, and utilities.
  • Exposure to SAP / ERP / Dynamic systems and digital process control.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and food safety compliances (FSSAI,ISO, FSSC 22000, GAO).
