Focus : Managing and Growing Physical Education Programs in Schools

  • This Account Manager role is centered on overseeing the successful implementation and growth of Sport Village's physical education programs within a portfolio of schools. It requires a blend of relationship management, operational oversight, and a passion for the role of sports in education.

Key Responsibilities (PE & School Operations Focused) :

  • Program Oversight : Daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of PE programs in schools. Ensuring programs align with school needs and Sport Village standards. Hands-on support for school trainers.
  • Curriculum & Planning : Creating yearly PE and sports calendars in collaboration with school leaders.
  • Assessment & Reporting : Planning and executing health and skill-related assessments. Delivering timely and accurate reports to schools. Using data to improve program effectiveness.
  • Trainer Management & Support : Weekly review meetings with trainers. Providing guidance and support. Assisting with hiring and replacement of trainers.
  • Event Management : Planning and implementing sports-related events within schools, with the support of school leadership.
  • Communication & Problem Solving : Serving as the primary point of contact for schools regarding program-related issues. Resolving escalations effectively.
  • Quality Control : Reviewing logbooks and online reporting for accuracy. Providing feedback and corrections.
  • Relationship Building : Motivating PE teachers and providing support as needed. Building strong relationships with school leaders to foster program success and renewal.
  • Ideal Candidate :

  • A strong background in physical education or sports management.
  • Experience working within a school environment or managing sports programs for children.
  • A deep understanding of the benefits of sports in education and a passion for promoting physical activity.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Requirements

  • Qualifications : Degree in Physical Education / Sports Management with a background or strong enthusiasm for sport (as a tool to drive change).
  • Experience : 4+ years of professional experience in corporate / education / development, along with demonstrable team leadership skills
  • Candidate should have a two-wheeler and should be ready to travel.
  • Candidate should have good command on MS Office.
  • Will need to have good communication skills in English and Hindi and familiarity with systems and technology.
