Job descriptionMaster's Degree in Structural Engineering. 3–6 years of relevant experience (international exposure is an advantage). Experience with secondary steel design (essential). Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering software; Revit Structures is a plus. Strong English communication skills (written and spoken). Working knowledge of relevant domestic design standards. Confident, proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
Role Overview
- Work on structural design elements for a wide variety of buildings in India and abroad.
- Undertake detailed engineering design of complex building projects.
- Collaborate with technicians on CAD and Revit drawings.
- Represent Buro Happold in meetings with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
- Deliver excellent project work within agreed deadlines and budgets.
- Ensure service / design decisions align with project and company objectives.
- Keep senior staff informed of critical design decisions.
- Coordinate work with other project team members.
