Senior Cloud Database Engineer

Role : Cloud Database Administrator (Cloud DBA- L3)

Location : Mumbai / Navi Mumbai- Hybrid (Pune candidates can travel)

About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Database Administrator to join our team at the L3 (Senior) level. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex database challenges, improving performance, and automating database operations in cloud and hybrid environments. You'll work with a mix of technologies including Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases, with a strong focus on AWS cloud services

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage and support large-scale databases across multiple platforms - Oracle (RAC, ASM, Data Guard), Microsoft SQL Server (AlwaysOn, Replication), PostgreSQL, and NoSQL solutions such as DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and MongoDB.
• Design and implement high-availability, disaster recovery, and scalability solutions for both on-premises and cloud-based systems.
• Set up and manage AWS RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, and EC2-based database workloads.
• Carry out performance tuning, query optimization, index management, and partitioning to maintain top-tier performance.
• Plan and execute database migration strategies using tools such as AWS DMS and Schema Conversion Tool (SCT).
• Develop automation scripts using Terraform, Python, Ansible, or AWS Lambda to streamline database deployment and maintenance.
• Perform capacity planning, monitoring, backup, recovery, and security configuration.
• Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure database reliability and availability.
• Stay up-to-date with new database technologies and recommend improvements or adoption where beneficial.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides
