Job descriptionDesign and develop software solutions for L2 / L3 networking protocols Work with data structures and ensure performance optimizations Collaborate with teams on the development of protocols like BGP, OSPF, and MPLS Gain hands-on experience with SONIC NOS and programmable packet pipelines
Key Deliverables
- Develop and debug L2 / L3 protocols (VLAN, STP, VXLAN, BGP, etc.)
- Work with CISCO OS (IOS, IOS-XE, NX-OS) for protocol development
- Implement and maintain multi-threading and socket programming
- Enhance software architecture for L2 / L3 components
- Contribute to debugging and fixing protocol-related bugs
