Job descriptionMinimum 5+ years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure management. Strong hands-on experience in Linux / Solaris system administration. Proven expertise in VMware environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi). Working knowledge of Dell storage solutions and their integration with virtual environments. Good understanding of infrastructure monitoring tools and proactive maintenance. Experience with cloud migration (AWS, Azure, etc.) will be an added advantage.
Role & Responsibilities :
- Administer and manage Linux and Solaris operating systems in production and development environments.
- Provide expert-level support on VMware, including provisioning, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Handle Dell Storage appliances including setup, configuration, health checks, and incident response.
- Perform daily infrastructure health checks, proactive monitoring, and reporting.
- Support and contribute to infrastructure migration initiatives from on-premise to cloud (preferred, not mandatory).
- Coordinate with internal IT teams and ensure high availability of infrastructure systems.
- Maintain documentation and follow change control processes.
