Role

Full-Stack Engineer (India

  • Remote,).  Ship a tiny but real app that converts legal docs into reusable Markdown templates and drafts cases via a chat UX. (https : / / docs.google.com / document / d / 1INp9p1DvkwHBoZanmEpfe7CNCfrdWIpF90qjnAoV8y8 / edit?usp=sharing)

What you’ll build (take-home)

  • Upload  .docx / .pdf  → auto-templatize with {{variables}} stored in DB
  • Batch create 5 templates
  • Chat : pick closest template from a user request, prefill, ask human-friendly questions, then generate final Markdown
  • If no local match :   (bonus)  use  exa.ai  to fetch a similar doc, templatize, and continue
  • Must use :   Python (FastAPI) ,  Next.js ,  Gemini API  (free tier)

    • You

  • Strong with Python / , Next.js, file parsing, simple DB design (SQLite / Postgres)
  • Comfortable with LLM prompting and clean UX
