The main responsibilities are -
- Develop and implement sales strategies for marine electrification and automation solutions.
- Identify and establish strong relationships with potential and existing clients in the marine industry.
- Develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for port and harbor electrification (shore-to-ship power, charging systems, energy storage integration).
- Drive tendering, bid management, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations in coordination with internal functions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution and client satisfaction.
- Analyze market trends and provide insights to optimize sales approaches.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and contracts to clients.
- Participate in industry events and exhibitions to promote the organization's offerings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Sales Manager (Marine - Electrification and Automation) should have :
- Atleast 10 years of experience in sales / business development within the marine or port electrification domain
- BE in Electrical or Marine Engineering
- Strong understanding of vessel electrical systems, propulsion drives, automation, and power distribution
- Proven expertise in sales and business development.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- The ability to analyze market trends and adapt strategies effectively.
- A proactive approach to building and maintaining client relationships.
- Familiarity with marine electrification and automation solutions.
