Job description

Description GSPANN is hiring SAP MM / SD Consultants to support and configure SAP SD and MM modules. Drive key processes including Order to Cash (OTC), Procure to Pay (P2P), Pricing, Billing, and Inventory Management.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Deliver day-to-day support for SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules.
  • Resolve incidents and service requests efficiently within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) timelines.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent issue recurrence.
  • Configure and maintain SAP SD and MM modules based on evolving user requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and implement system enhancements.
  • Address issues related to master and transactional data, including Material, Vendor, Customer, and Pricing records.
  • Manage integration points between SAP SD / MM and other modules such as Financial Accounting (FI), Warehouse Management (WM), and Production Planning (PP).
  • Participate in unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) while coordinating efforts with Quality Assurance (QA) teams.
  • Develop and update documentation, including functional specifications and user guides.
  • Partner with Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP) developers to deliver custom enhancements and troubleshoot system issues.
  • Provide support during month-end and year-end closing activities specific to SD and MM processes.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience supporting SAP SD and SAP MM modules.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of key SD processes such as Order to Cash (OTC), Pricing, Billing, Credit Management, and Deliveries.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of MM workflows, including Procure to Pay (P2P), Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt / Invoice Receipt (GR / IR), and Inventory Management.
  • Work effectively with SAP ticketing tools such as ServiceNow, Remedy, or SAP Solution Manager.
  • Apply configuration skills in SAP SD and MM modules to meet business needs.
  • Understand Intermediate Documents (IDocs), Electronic Data Interchange (EDI), and integrations with third-party systems.
  • Communicate clearly and maintain strong interpersonal skills to support cross-functional collaboration.
