Job description

Experience designing and building on-prem Kubernetes environments, preferably on Red Hat and Windriver platforms.

Deep expertise of large-scale Kubernetes architecture and also deep experience of BareMetal Kubernetes Networking, pod networking and a deep understanding of NAT (including source natting)

Experience with Calico, Cilium and Multus

Experience with DNS in virtualised environments

Highly skilled with load balancing in a Kubernetes environment, and traffic routing and manipulation, understanding ingress and egress flows

Experience directly of working with on-prem Red hat / Windriver Kubernetes platforms.

Experience using Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring, and integrations required at a tenant level.

Troubleshooting with tcpdump, iptables, eBPF

Expert in TCP / IP, VLANs, routing, and load balancing, knowledge of Cisco VXLAN (including NDFC) and Arista networking. Experience integrating clusters with network underlay.

Have strong organisation and planning skills to manage multiple tasks so that promises are delivered

Experience deploying Kubernetes on-prem.

Experience with VMware (Vsphere / VSAN / NSX-T) and migrations / replatforming from VMWare into Redhat / Windriver

From a networking perspective, MetalLB and service mesh (Istio) are required.

For the IaaS component OpenStack is being used, both Redhat and Windriver. Experience with SRIOV and DPDk are required.

Skilled in RHOSP, RHOSO, Satellite, Quay.
