Job Title : Manager - Engineering | Majid Al Futtaim Retail

We’re expanding our core engineering team and need a hands-on technical leader who can architect, deliver, and own business-critical platforms end-to-end. If you love turning bold ideas into reliable, high-throughput systems that directly move the P&L needle—we want to meet you!

What You’ll Do :

• Own architecture & delivery of payment, catalog, logistics, and growth services handling tens of thousands of requests per second
• Design, build, and tune Java 17+ / Spring Boot microservices, Kafka event pipelines, distributed caches, and cloud-native deployments (Kubernetes on either AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Drive engineering excellence : establish coding standards, automate CI / CD, champion observability and SRE practices
• Lead & mentor a squad of senior engineers; facilitate architecture reviews and hands-on pair design
• Translate features into business impact : partner with Product & Data teams to optimize conversion, retention, and unit economics
