The Role : Product Owner / Manager
The Team
The EDO (Enterprise Data Organisation) Data and Distribution Platforms organization is dedicated to developing platforms that facilitate data acquisition and onboarding while supporting cross-divisional product creation. They provide a variety of distribution channels, including warehouse-based solutions, files, and APIs tailored to different customer use cases. Furthermore, these platforms are designed to enable AI-driven distribution.

As a Product Owner for S&P Global's Distribution and Data Platforms you play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering innovative data and distribution solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients and stakeholders. This position is responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, timely execution and roadmap for our products, ensuring that our offerings remain competitive and aligned with market demands.
The ideal candidate has a keen understanding of user needs and business objectives. As a key liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, the Product Owner will prioritize features, manage the product backlog, and drive the agile development process to deliver the results on time.
Key responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders to gather requirements, translating those into actionable user stories, and ensuring that the product development aligns with the overall strategic goals of S&P Global's EDO organization.
This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and great communication skills, making it essential for driving the success of S&P Global's Distribution and Data Platforms in a rapidly changing data landscape.
The Impact :
As a member of the Product team, you will play an essential role in steering the Agile development process, overseeing complex projects from inception to completion, and maintaining modules to ensure smooth functionality.
