Your Role

As a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Technical Lead , you will be responsible for architecting and delivering end-to-end solutions within the Marketing and CRM landscape. You will act as the primary technical liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring successful implementation of SFMC and Salesforce Data Cloud solutions.

In this role you will play a key role in :

Driving business discussions on SFMC user stories and requirements with stakeholders.

Architecting solutions across Marketing and CRM ecosystems.

Taking ownership of SFMC deliverables for marketing program initiatives.

Conceptualizing use cases and developing PoCs to meet business and technical requirements.

Creating High-Level Design (HLD) documents for new requirements or change requests.

Providing best practices for Marketing Cloud implementations and SDLC processes.

Leading end-user training plans and execution.

Acting as the face of Capgemini to clients, bridging business needs and technical solutions.

Supporting proposal responses, technical estimates, and creating assets / whitepapers in SFMC + CDP domain.

Collaborating with Salesforce Support vendors for upgrades, patches, and best practices.

Your Profile

You are an experienced SFMC professional with strong technical and functional expertise in digital marketing and data management. You have excellent communication skills and can confidently present solutions to clients.

Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) – Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder.

Salesforce Data Cloud (CDP) – Data architecture, identity reconciliation, API / SDK integration.

Data Management & Modeling – Segment building, consent management, duplicate handling.

Integration Expertise – CRM integration (SFDC or other), JSON, AMPscript, Apex, JavaScript.

Reporting & Analytics – SFMC dashboards, Tableau / Datorama (good to have).

Responsibilities

Drive SFMC user story discussions and requirement gathering.

Architect solutions for Marketing and CRM landscapes.

Own end-to-end SFMC deliverables as technical lead.

Develop PoCs and solutions for agreed business requirements.

Map Marketing Cloud data model to CRM solutions.

Create and execute end-user training plans.

Implement Email Studio best practices (A / B Testing, Segmentation, Personalization, Triggered Emails).

Prepare HLD documents for new requirements / change requests.

Ensure SDLC compliance and deployment best practices.

Respond to proposals and create technical assets in SFMC + CDP domain.

Support Salesforce Data Cloud Lead with estimates and RFP responses.

Liaise with Salesforce Support for upgrades and patches.

Present technical and functional solutions confidently to clients.

Technical Skills

Experience : 5+ years in Marketing Cloud projects (ExactTarget & Salesforce Data Cloud Integration).

Modules : Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Social Studio, Marketing Cloud setup / configuration.

Data Cloud Expertise : Event Tracking, API / SDK Integration, Salesforce Connectors.

Languages : Apex, JavaScript, JSON.

Data Management : Architecture, Identity reconciliation, Consent management, Segment activation.

Security : Roles, access controls, campaign data security.

Certifications : Mandatory Salesforce Data Cloud Certified; SFMC certification preferred.

Additional : AMPscript, multi-lingual support, mobile push notifications, Interaction Studio, Advertising Studio, DMP knowledge.
