Job Summary :

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to generate actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across departments. Youll work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and deliver clear, impactful reports and visualizations.

Key Responsibilities :

Data Collection & Cleaning :

  • Gather data from internal systems, databases, APIs, and third-party sources
  • Clean, validate, and preprocess data to ensure accuracy and consistency

Data Analysis & Interpretation :

  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
  • Use statistical techniques to derive insights and support business decisions

    • Reporting & Visualisation :

  • Create dashboards and visual reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel
  • Present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner

    • Collaboration & Strategy :

  • Work with cross-functional teams (marketing, finance, operations) to understand data needs
  • Translate business questions into analytical problems and deliver data-driven solutions

    • Data Governance & Quality :

  • Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
  • Document data sources, methodologies, and processes

    • Required Skills & Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in SQL for querying relational databases
  • Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and automation
  • Understanding of statistics, data modeling, and hypothesis testing
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Knowledge of machine learning basics or predictive analytics
  • Exposure to big data tools (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus
