Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Furniture Designer to join our creative and production teams in Bangalore.

The ideal candidate will either hold a formal qualification in furniture design or bring at least five years of experience in designing furniture within a manufacturing environment.

Experience in custom or luxury furniture will be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and detailed drawings for bespoke furniture pieces based on client briefs and project requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, and the production team to translate concepts into manufacturable designs.
• Prepare technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications for prototyping and production.
• Select appropriate materials, finishes, and joinery methods based on functionality, aesthetics, and cost parameters.
• Ensure all designs are feasible for production within the constraints of available technology and resources.
• Participate in sample reviews and oversee prototype development to refine design and ensure accuracy.
• Support the production team during manufacturing to maintain design integrity and quality standards.
• Stay updated on trends, innovations, and sustainable practices in furniture design and manufacturing.
