Job Opportunity : Team Leader (US Accounting)

Location : Ahmedabad

Shift Timing : 2 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM (IST)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader for our US Accounting team. The ideal candidate should possess a CPA or CA certification, with a solid understanding of US accounting principles, practices, and compliance standards. As a Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting operations, guiding and mentoring a team of professionals, and ensuring that all financial processes are executed with accuracy and in accordance with US regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage a team of accountants handling US accounting functions.
  • Review and oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Provide support and training to team members, helping them grow in their roles.
  • Maintain compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Handle reconciliation of general ledger accounts and ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve financial reporting.
  • Address and resolve any accounting-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive improvements in efficiency and accuracy of accounting processes.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • CPA or CA qualification is a must.
  • Strong knowledge of US accounting standards (US GAAP).
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience working in a KPO or shared services environment is a plus.
