Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Performance Marketing Expert located in Kolkata. The Performance Marketing Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing and optimizing social media campaigns, driving sales through targeted marketing efforts, analyzing campaign performance, and communicating insights and recommendations. The role requires a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and the ability to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Plan, launch, and manage performance campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube) and Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram) .
  • Build and execute ROI-driven paid marketing strategies focused on lead generation and conversions.
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to develop compelling creatives and landing pages that maximize engagement.

Optimization & Analysis

  • Continuously track and optimize campaigns to achieve KPIs like CPL, CPA, ROAS, CTR , and Conversion Rate .
  • Conduct A / B tests, audience segmentation, and bidding optimizations to enhance performance.
  • Analyze trends, monitor budgets, and identify growth opportunities through data-driven insights.
  • Reporting & Insights

  • Develop weekly and monthly performance dashboards using Google Analytics , Looker Studio (Data Studio) , or Excel / Sheets .
  • Present actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders for continuous campaign improvement.
  • Ensure accurate conversion tracking and pixel implementation across all platforms.
  • Collaboration & Growth

  • Partner with product, sales, and CRM teams to ensure lead quality and optimize the marketing funnel.
  • Stay updated on the latest digital marketing trends, policies, and platform updates from Google and Meta.
  • Share learnings proactively to drive a culture of experimentation and performance excellence.
  • Qualification & Skills :

    Must-Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in performance marketing (preferably in EdTech or a similar digital-first service industry).
  • Proven expertise in Google Ads and Meta Ads , with a strong grasp of campaign optimization and reporting.
  • Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and Excel / Sheets .
  • Experience with conversion tracking , data attribution , and budget management .
  • Nice-to-Have :

  • Certifications in Google Ads or Meta Blueprint .
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Ads or other paid channels.
  • Working knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.G., HubSpot, Zoho, ActiveCampaign).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
