Position- Joint Director / Deputy Director- State Head (Bengaluru)

Experience - 12-14 years

PURPOSE OF THE JOB : To focus on the areas of Policy Advocacy, Advisory, Engagement, Research, Training and Capacity Building for :

• Government
• Businesses
• Society

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES : The main areas in which this role must get results in order to achieve its sole purpose :

1. EVENTS / SEMINARS / CONFERENCES / TRAINING PROGS :

2. Ability to launch marketing campaigns

3. Ability to organize and manage road shows

4. Ability to increate & manage promotions to increase foot falls in events

5. Ability to identify sponsors and other fund raising sources

6. 1-2 major event every year

7. 4-6 other programmes / initiatives

1. POLICY DEVELOPMENT & ADVOCACY / RESEARCH & REPORT CREATION

2. Ability to decide areas for policy changes through interaction with members

3. Ability to manage multiple projects around policy advocacy

4. Ability to identify trends

5. Ability to understand advanced contemporary business issues

6. 4-5 representations / memorandum to the government and to get them resolved

7. MEDIA

8. Ability to get coverage for reports in various forms of media & journalism etc.

9. Three press conferences in a year

10. 8-10 sector specific press releases

1. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
